Ghana’s Minister of interior approved the extradition of the three Ghanaian officials

Ghana’s Minister of Interior, Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka, has approved the extradition of three Ghanaian nationals, Isaac Kofi Oduro Boateng (also known as Kofi Boat), Inusah Ahmed, and Derrick Can Yeboah, to the United States over alleged involvement in a $100 million fraud scheme. The suspects are accused of engaging in Business Email Compromise (BEC) and romance scams targeting individuals and companies in the US. However, there’s a discrepancy in the number of suspects, as some reports mention a fourth suspect still at large, but it’s unclear if Patrick Kwame Asare is the fourth individual. The extradition request was made by the US Department of State, and Ghanaian authorities are cooperating with their US counterparts.
