“We Wanted to Do This Together” – King Promise Reveals Unreleased Joint Album with Daddy Lumba
Award-winning Ghanaian artiste King Promise has shared that he and the late Daddy Lumba were quietly working on a joint album before the legend’s untimely death.
“We wanted to do this project together. He gave me his full blessing to sample some of his classics, and even expressed how much he loved my sound,” King Promise disclosed.
According to him, the two had a deep conversation just two months ago, with Lumba showing great excitement about the creative direction of the album.
Sadly, the dream project will never materialize following Daddy Lumba’s passing on July 26, 2025 — leaving fans mourning not just a legend, but a golden moment that will never be heard.
